Raymond James Adds Teams Across US

Raymond James, the US-listed wealth management group, has welcomed two groups of advisors to its network, with one team coming to Tennessee and the second to Boston.
The firm has brought in Roper Fields, Thomas Fields and BV Lawson to its employee advisor broker/dealer. These advisors join from Wells Fargo, where they previously managed about $150 million in client assets under advisement and generated over $1.6 million in revenue. The team operates as Fields Wealth Management of Raymond James and is joined by senior registered sales associate Tammy Alexander.
In Boston, the firm has added to its financial investment banking practice. Joining the firm are Robert Hutchinson as managing director, Andrew Stager as director, Calvin Chau as vice president and analyst Frank Elder. The newly appointed team has more than 40 years of combined financial services industry experience, led by Hutchinson’s more than 20 years of experience advising depositories on mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, trust preferred offerings and mutual to stock conversions.
Hutchinson joins from Piper Jaffray, where he was a managing director and head of financial services investment banking. Prior to Piper Jaffray, Hutchinson was a managing director with Sterne Agee and held multiple leadership roles, including head of depository investment banking. Prior to Sterne Agee, he was with Keefe, Bruyette & Woods and previously served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
